PRO Floatation Suit Jacket or Trousers
To achieve a more comfortable fit, we have changed the floatation material in the jacket. The trousers are waterproof and thermally insulated. The jacket is a bold colour over the shoulders and the whole suit has reflective safety stripes. 10,000 water column / 210D Oxford nylon with PVC coating.
- 100% waterproof (water column 10.000mm)
- EN 393 / EN ISO 12402-5: 50N buoyancy aid
- Material: 100% nylon
- Coating PVC
Remark:
Flotation suits are usually not faint-proof, i.e. if you fall unconscious into the water, the suit will not automatically turn you onto your back so that your head is kept above water. For your safety, use an additional life jacket with 275N buoyancy.
EN 393 / EN ISO 12402-5: 50N buoyancy aid
Have a buoyancy of not less than 50 Newton for an average adult. This level is intended for swimmers who are close to shore or have assistance and life-saving equipment at hand. These garments have minimal volume, but have limited use in "disturbed water" and cannot keep the user safe for an extended period of time. They do not have enough buoyancy to protect people who are unable to help themselves. They require the active participation of the user.
