This harpoon is ideal to land big catches in Norway & Co. The headpiece of the harpoon is pushed into the fish to be landed with a tensioned rope - or pushed through completely if necessary. Then the hand part with the metal part is pulled back - and the fish is landed by hand with the rope. Often the problem is to land very big fish like halibut, cod etc.. A gaff is not always suitable here. The harpoon system is much better in this case. It consists of the harpoon piece with rope, stick/hand part and adapter. The length is approx. 170 cm.
