Special equipment for large catches in Norway & Co. The headpiece of the harpoon is pushed into the fish to be landed with a tensioned rope - or pushed through completely if necessary. Then the hand part with the metal part is pulled back - and the fish is landed by hand with the rope. Often the problem is to land very large fish such as halibut and cod safely; a gaff is not always suitable here. Much better in this case is the harpoon system. It consists of the harpoon piece with rope, a stable telescopic hand piece and adapter. The length is approx. 120-180 cm. The special feature of this harpoon is the small transport size of approx. 65 cm, which is ideal for travelling.
