The leader works best when using a Sea Boom when fishing for tusk and ling with fish fillets and whole dead fish. The spoon attracts the fish and entices them to bite. The leader is 57cm or 60cm long. The main line consists of 1.00mm thick monofilament line. One leader has a circle hook with a 12cm long spoon in the colour fluo. The other leader has a normal hook and a 10cm long red spoon. Two systems are included.

The leader is fished as a trailing system. In this type of fishing, the leader is mounted on a sea boom through which the main line runs and which keeps the lead and the leader system at the perfect distance from each other. In the event of a bite, this system does not strike when a circle hook is used, as the hook grabs the fish when it pulls away. The system is used at depths of 50m-100m and is offered 1-2m above the bottom and repeatedly lowered to the bottom and raised again.
