The modern WFT LINECOUNTER reel with high-precision, electronic line counter and automatic line guide. Due to its low weight and compact design, the WFT LINECOUNTER 875 is particularly suitable for deep-sea fishing with light equipment, which is becoming increasingly popular.
The large, waterproof and easy-to-read LCD display has low power consumption. The WFT LINECOUNTER 875 is pre-programmed for use with various thicknesses of round-braided WFT KG STRONG line (KG-Strong Exact spools available).
The infinite anti-reverse and another 7 stainless steel ball bearings ensure superior, smooth gear operation. The wear-free CARBON-DRAG braking system enables the braking effect to be applied smoothly without abrupt load peaks. The risk of line breaking is thus minimized many times over. The counter works contactless and very precisely. The star brake works smoothly - even thin line diameters can be selected. This makes the reels extremely interesting for downrigger fishing, especially when thinner monofilament line is chosen. The crank is adjustable in length to influence the amount of force required. The 875 offers a line retrieval of 100cm per crank rotation, so even fishing in great water depths does not become an "endless cranking". The line guide of the 875 is forced by two additional cross struts to prevent jamming.
