Like no other multi-reel, it combines a comfortable 2-speed gearbox with automatic line guide and precise drag. 4 encapsulated stainless steel ball bearings ensure easy retrieving, even in high gear and with the load of a strong fish.
Thanks to the huge carbon fibre drag disc, the drag is very finely adjustable and also offers a high maximum drag force. Despite this, the reel offers a very smooth freewheel, which is extremely important when deep-sea fishing. The extremely robust gear is designed for use with low-stretch, braided lines such as the WFT KG Strong 39KG or 51KG. However, thanks to the heavy-duty aluminium spool, you can also use monofilament lines without hesitation. Thanks to the use of high-strength nylon ABS material, the WFT OFFSHORE 2-SPEED is very robust, yet pleasantly light.
The high gear ratio of 1 : 3.8 in the stainless steel 2-speed gearbox allows the line to be retrieved very quickly, even from great water depths. The low gear ratio of 1:1.5 provides plenty of power to exert the necessary pressure on large fish.
