Fantastic, lightweight reel designed in Japan for JIG, deep sea and trolling fishing. With the high speed ratio of 1:6.8, the line retraction per crank rotation is up to 106 cm. This makes it perfect for the new SLOW + HIGH SPEED JIGGING methods.
The WFT SEN SEA 8 SD/LH is the perfect Norway reel! The EVA (foam rubber) handle is comfortable to hold even on cold days. Thanks to the narrow design of the spool, there is virtually no need to spread the line with your finger and the WFT SEN SEA 8SD/LH does not tend to tip to one side. With the carbon power drag and 15 kg drag force, you can stop and control every fish. The star drag can also be adjusted very precisely. There is virtually no noticeable influence of the brake in crank operation - even with the maximum braking force set - please be sure to try it out at your dealer and compare!
Weighing just 365g, the WFT SEN SEA 8 SD/LH is one of the lightest reels in its class. The WFT SEN SEA 8 SD/LH is manufactured with the utmost precision using a computer milling machine to cut the frame, spool and reel foot from solid aluminium as well as many other CNC parts. 8 encapsulated stainless steel ball bearings and 1 stainless steel roller bearing (8+1) ensure a fantastically smooth and easy retrieve even under the load of a large fish and ensure that all functions of the WFT SEN SEA 8 SD/LH run smoothly.
Gear, ball bearings, roller bearings, all screws and drag spider made of stainless steel! Despite its low weight and small dimensions, it can cope with any fish, e.g. in Norway or in tropical waters.
The reel is supplied with a precisely fitting WFT line.
