The new RYOBI SAFARI is a robust saltwater reel with a bronze-reinforced stainless steel axle and impressive braking power. The entire body is sealed all round so that the RYOBI SAFARI can be immersed in water for up to one hour at a depth of one metre without water getting into the gears. The large EVA crank handle is comfortable to hold, even in the cold season, and always provides plenty of feel and control. A disengageable backstop has been omitted in favour of robustness.
The use of ever more powerful braided lines makes it possible to use ever smaller reels. With the RYOBI SAFARI, we offer a reel that can withstand these loads without compromising on the best running characteristics. Incidentally, the RYOBI SAFARI is also an excellent reel for all types of catfish fishing thanks to its great robustness in all components.
