WFT Pro Salt 2 Heavy Duty Saltwater Reel
The WFT PRO SALT 2 is our extremely robust all-metal fixed spool reel for all types of saltwater fishing. Derived from our already extremely robust and proven PRO SALT I. The reel body, rotor, spool and crank arm are made of MARINEGRADE Alloy aluminium, which is used in shipbuilding and boiler construction due to its high strength and resistance to salt water. The aluminium side cover is also fitted with dowel pins, guaranteeing absolute torsional rigidity even under the highest mechanical loads.
Despite its robust all-metal construction, the WFT PRO SALT 2 is not too heavy and, thanks to the precision aluminium/stainless steel/bronze gear, offers a retrieving comfort that is probably unique for reels in this performance class.
The entire body is sealed all round so that the WFT PRO SALT 2 can be immersed in water for up to one hour at a depth of one metre without water getting into the gears.
8+1 stainless steel bearings and a ceramic bearing in the titanium-coated line roller ensure clean, precise running. The CNC aluminium crank is screwed directly into the stainless steel mount of the gearbox. This means there is no more crank play!
The cold-forged aluminium spool is cut from a solid piece and rests broadly on the bronze spool carrier of the stainless steel axle. The WFT PRO SALT 2 is the best fixed spool reel for saltwater fishing that we have ever been able to offer you.
PRO SALT 2 12000
The WFT PRO SALT 2 12000 is our extremely robust all-metal fixed spool reel specially designed for heavy saltwater fishing. The oversized carbon brake disc is positioned under the spool and can build up a brake pressure of up to 24 kg.
