With the WFT CATBUSTER reels we offer a full metal reel for the toughest use in fresh and salt water. All features are designed for unconditional stability and robustness. Specially designed for spin fishing for catfish from the bank or boat and equipped with a drag force of over 20kg (8500) - 30kg (20000 + 30000), you will conquer any fish! There are three models to choose from, from the 8500 to the 20000 (oversized) to the 30000 (largest).
The aluminium spool with the exclusive WFT LTC coating guarantees maximum protection of your valuable braided line even after thousands of casts - a very important feature when spin fishing in extreme conditions!
Everything about the new WFT CATBUSTER reels is simply gigantic. The huge CNC-cut stainless steel drive wheel & pinion, the high-strength stainless steel axle, the massive carbon fibre drag system and ball bearings that are around 5x (8500) or 10x (20000 + 30000) the size of those used in normal fixed spool reels. The EXTREME mechanism is driven by a forged crank with a T-shaped handle and LTC coating, the dimensions of which are normally only used in BIG GAME reels. It's only logical that we didn't cut corners here either...
